2023 SEMCA Michigan Works! Young Professionals Program*
The SEMCA Young Professionals Program (SYPP) prepares Youth (14-24 years old), and Adult and Dislocated Workers (18 and over) for the world of work. Increase your employability and technical skills in the high demand, high wage, high growth industries of Healthcare, Information Technology (IT), Manufacturing and Transportation.

The Young Professionals Program includes:
- Tuition-free** certificate training
- Work-readiness workshops, free supportive services, and career development
- Earn while you learn
- Referral for a paid work experience after successfully completing the training
Choose from courses in electronic health records, cybersecurity, the fundamentals of manufacturing, and more. Work-readiness workshops in, career planning, interviewing and resume writing, financial literacy, etc., will help you sharpen your skills. Take advantage of career placement services once you’ve completed your training course.
