REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS (RFP)
Thank you very much for your interest in doing business with SEMCA. SEMCA utilizes the Request for Proposals (RFP) and Request for Quotes (RFQ) processes as a way to properly, and fairly, procure necessary services or goods.
When SEMCA puts out RFPs and RFQs, they will appear below.
EV Infrastructure Training – Request for Proposals (RFP)
The rapid growth in electric vehicles (EVs) today is part of a fundamental shift in transportation, a change that promises substantial benefits to individuals, businesses, communities, and the entire Nation. As the American workforce adapts to the growing needs of the EV Infrastructure industry, it will have workforce impacts of a large-scale transition to supply the EV infrastructure industry with skilled workers who are knowledgeable in the building, installation and repair of electric charging stations.
Southeast Michigan Community Alliance (SEMCA) seeks a Service Provider designed to respond and build a talent pipeline with these skills.

- RFP questions deadline: Tuesday, April 4, 2023, at 4 p.m. EST
- Proposal submission deadline: Friday, April 14, 2023, by 4p.m.
One-Stop Operator (OSO) – Request for Proposals (RFP)
SEMCA has issued this RFP on behalf of SEMCA’s Workforce Board to solicit proposals and procure an OSO to coordinate the partners and services for SEMCA’s One-Stop Service Centers, also known as American Job Centers (AJCs).
The bidder that is selected will be awarded a one year initial contract (July 1, 2023 – June 30, 2024) with options to extend annually on July 1, 2024 for a total maximum contract period of three (3) years.
PARTNERSHIP.ACCOUNTABILITY.TRAINING.HOPE. (PATH) – Request for Proposals (RFP)
The purpose of this Request for Proposals (RFP) is to contract with an agency or agencies to facilitate the Partnership.Accountability.Training.Hope. (PATH) Program funded by the Labor and Economic Opportunity (LEO) through SEMCA Michigan Works!, providing services in Monroe & Wayne Counties, excluding the City of Detroit.
Food Assistance Employment and Training (FAE&T) – Request for Proposals (RFP)
The purpose of this Request for Proposals (RFP) is to contract with an agency or agencies to facilitate the FAE&T program which serves the needs of low income and unemployed individuals. Some of the skill-based benefits of the program include education, work readiness, and job retention activities; therefore, assisting recipients to gain skills, training, work or experience that will increase their ability to obtain gainful employment which will increase self-sufficiency.
