Wayne County Manufacturing Day – October 5, 2023

MFG Day 2023 - Thursday, October 5

On behalf of the 2023 MFG Day Planning Committee, we invite you to participate with us on Thursday, October 5, 2023. The goal for MFG Day is to expose students to a variety of manufacturing careers, provide student tours to manufacturing facilities, and offer education on manufacturing training programs.

MFG Day 2023 General Information

    • 10 to 1 student-to-chaperone ratio will be required.
    • Facility tour time 9 – 11 a.m.
    • Hub site time 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
    • Mandatory Meet & Greet Orientation – September 21, 2023 

Registration is now open through June 30, 2023

    • Guaranteed a slot for a tour and a hub site experience.

Waitlisted registration July 1 –September 1, 2023

    • We will book tours and hub site experiences on a first come first serve basis.
We will be unable to accept registrations for Manufacturing Day 2023
after Friday, September 1, 2023.

Provide two points of contact who will be responsible for coordination the MFG Day activities. Activities would include identifying student participants and transportation. At least one person must be a chaperone for the day of the event. (10 to 1 student to chaperone ratio will be required.)
